Mario Hernandez

I was born in 1969 in San Salvador, El Salvador.  After arriving in the U.S. in 1988, I went to school to learn english and computers.  It wasn't until 1995 that I was introduced to web designing which captured me and I love to this day. 

Every since 1995, I have been doing web designing on and off.  In 2001, I founded Design Drive, a small website design studio based in the Los Angeles area.  I have always had a passion for artistic design and as the internet and graphic design became more popular, I decided to go back to school while working as a tech support specialist for the government.  During this time, I was keeping Designs Drive as a hobby, but in 2006 I got a big break, all the schooling i had done had finally paid off when I was promoted to Web Developer for the Federal Government.  Now, I had opportunity to do what I love as a full time job.  To this day, my dream job.

Nowadays, I'm focused on developing websites at Designs Drive primarerly using Drupal, the award winning Content Mangemen System and the .NET Framework.  Back at the office, the focus has shifted to Drupal and SharePoint.  Couldn't ask for anything better than using Drupal and SharePoint full time.
